The following are a series of 3D scanned and 3D rendered objects that I've called "Sequenced V+F Flowers".
I recently received a Venus Et Fleur flower arrangement and was fascinated with the presentation of these long-lasting roses. I decided to generate a virtual model of this arrangement using the Artec Space Spider 3D Scanner and explore the materiality of the object. I rendered three separate meshes of my 3D model, and then recreated it virtually. I began experimenting with different materials, and rearranging my shape to create a new sculpture. Here are my results.
